Digital Marketing & Communications Associate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts or related field
- Previous experience in digital marketing or social media management
- Preferred Certifications such as Google Analytics, HubSpot Content Marketing or Email Marketing, Meta Digital Marketing
- Knowledge of graphic design, particularly page design and typography;
- Basic photography skills & DSLR Camera knowledge;
- Expertise in Google Analytics 4, SEO, and social media algorithms
- Proficiency in paid media management and lead-capture optimization
- Strong digital content creation and copywriting skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies
- Understanding of paid advertising platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Reports to:
- Reporting Manager: Director of Admissions & Partnerships
- Team Leader: Communications & Brand Design Manager
The Understandings, Responsibilities, Skills, Values and Mindset:
- Collaborates regularly with the Communications & Brand Design Manager on social media strategy, digital storytelling and communications design projects.
- Covers photographic responsibilities at school events, including evening events that may be included in the AIS-R Yearbook.
- Monitors annual school events calendar.
- Executes daily digital presence including social media management and community engagement in line with the Brand-Building playbook- (eg: Moments that Matter)
- Manages paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn) for admissions lead generation in collaboration with AMC and Community Engagement Manager
- Maintains brand consistency across digital platforms
- Monitors and responds to engagement on social media channels
- Supports Admissions and community engagement marketing campaigns and newsletters
- Collaborates to maintain website content (news, homepage) to ensure a regular refresh cycle
- Photograph key and calendared school events
- Tracks and reports on digital marketing ROI and website conversion rates
- Collaborates with teachers, students, and other stakeholders to tell AIS-R’s stories
- Collects data on marketing performance and engagement
- Assists in marketing and branding design projects, signage, invitations and programs.
- Keeps well informed on school activities and publications.
- Performs other related tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Terms of Employment:
Salary will be assigned from the Classified Administrative Support Salary Schedule; 200-day contract.
Work Hours: 8:00am - 4:30 pm (5:00pm on Tuesdays/4:00 pm on Thursdays)
Learning and Growth:
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with school policy by the designated supervisor.
